The MyFICO Web site is run by the Fair Isaac Corporation, a national leader in the credit business. How much of a leader? Well, 90 percent of all U.S. banks use their credit rating system.

Now there are other sites out there that will give you up to date rate information, but they cater only to good credit customers.

Remember, even though myfico.com does not list rates for scores under 500, we have lenders who will work with those kinds of scores.
